      <image:title>The Committee - Shaun English</image:title>
<image:caption>Shaun is our class president. Shaun came late to sailing after he and Victoria bought Victoria’s Dad’s boat off the family. A noelex 22 called Hawkwind. He then joined the Bay of Plenty Trailer Yacht Squadron and learn how to race. Sailing and racing Hawkwind for eleven years. During those years he also crewed on Visions a Noelex 25 and went to national competions in Napier and Taupo. After some frustration, Hawkwind went back to the family in Whanganui and Shaun bought a Noelex 25 Endurance for Victoria’s birthday. Since then, he has sailed in the national regattas in Napier, Taupo, Rotoiti and Lyttleton, and consistently races on Rotoiti in club racing, often single handed. He also enjoys entering the Gulf Classic, and doing laps of Lake Taupo. Meanwhile Victoria enjoys the quieter times cruising on Rotoiti to the hot pools or just anchor up and going for a swim.</image:caption>

He has raced Elderberry Wine in every Noelex 25 Nationals since 2004 and at Napier Sailing Club on a regular basis over the same period. During his time in the class he has met and competed with many Noelex 25 sailors and greatly enjoyed racing and meeting them in Rotorua, Rotoiti, Taupo, Napier, Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch, Timaru and Dunedin. Bob has been a class measurer for several classes including the Noelex 25, and has been the class president since 2009.</image:caption>
